For The Love of Free E-Books

I fell in love with books and reading from a very early age.  My grandmother read, my Dad read, and my mother read so, I guess, I had good role models.

I love libraries, too and could spend hours on end just browsing through all the stacks.  I usually found myself browsing through history books and craft books.  I just couldn't get enough of historical information - especially on the Victorian Era.  It always fascinated me and finding something in one book usually lead to another book, and so on.  Like solving a big jigsaw puzzle.

I was always happy when I found a good craft book as there really weren't a lot of them at the time.  Nothing like what you can find nowadays.

All of this probably explains my love of Victorian dolls, love of crafts, love of research, love of jigsaw puzzle, and love of reading.

Back in 1993 I used to spend hours on end at the local library scouring the vintage books for Victorian illustrations.  I knew that the supply my local library had was limited but was happy to find some illustrations none the less.   Well, as you can imagine when e-books came along I was thrilled and I fell in love with books even more.

I could not only read the e-books but could see the beautiful illustrations as well and didn't have to travel to a library to see them.  Wow! I was in book heaven.

And, when websites came along with free e-books, well, that was just icing on the cake.  Nivarna!

I hope you enjoy the free e-books I've read and beautiful illustrations within them and hope you enjoy them, too.

As you know I love books and love beautiful illustrations and graphics.  So much so I usually end up creating free coloring pages e-books for all the kids and grown-up girls to enjoy.

Here's what I've created so far based upon the free e-books shown above:

I love to create free e-patterns, free e-printables, and free e-books for my customers and blog readers and have created several of each.
